The First Pavlov State Medical University of St. Petersburg was established in 1897 in St. Petersburg, Russia, as the first Russian medical college for women. After its 118 years of history, it has become one of the leading medical colleges in Russia and the world. As well as the University is one of the top ten medical schools in Europe. First Pavlov State Medical University of St. Petersburg is recognized by the WHO,UF GMC, US ECFMG, the Medical councils of India, Sri-Lanka, Bangladesh, Ireland and many other countries. Today there are over 2000 foreign students from 32 countries studying in the Academy.
